SHILLONG, Sep 3: A felicitation ceremony was organised by the College of Teacher Education (PGT) to recognise the achievements of the outgoing batch of student-teachers. Cabinet Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh was the chief guest.
During the felicitation ceremony, Lyngdoh presented awards to rank holders Nazeema Hayat Barlaskar (3rd position), Juhi Paul (4th position), Mebadari Paswet (5th position), Marshalstar Khongwir (6th position), and Ibawanpli Kharlynkhoi (10th position). The ‘O grade’ students were also facilitated for their exceptional performance in the School Internship Final Teaching.
The students who received this recognition were Nazeema Hayat Barlaskar, Balajoplut Nongdhar, Vivek Upadhya, and Perfectstar Snaitang.
To culminate the ceremony, Ampareen delivered a captivating speech, inspiring the outgoing student-teachers to pursue their future endeavours with determination and zeal.
The chief guest too was felicitated by WL Lyngdoh (retired IAS), president of the governing body, in acknowledgment of her distinguished presence.
Following the felicitation, the Principal in charge of CTE (PGT) Shillong, Dr MA Jyrwa motivated the outgoing student-teachers from the batch of 2021-2023 with an inspiring speech.
