Expats to premiere penultimate episode at Toronto Film Festival
The upcoming American drama series, Expats, has released its first look images for the series. The six-part limited series starring Nicole Kidman, based on the book series of the same name by Janice Y. K. Lee, will have the premiere of its penultimate episode aired at the Toronto Film Festival, on September 8. The Nicole Kidman-starrer will explore the blurred lines of victimhood and culpability, centering on the lives of three women; namely Margaret (Nicole Kidman), Hilalry (Sarayu Blue) and Mercy (Ji-young Yoo), whose lives intersect after a sudden family tragedy. Raja Kumari had ‘mind blowing’ experience with SRK for Jawan
Rapper Raja Kumari has been doing wonders with her song for Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan, for which she has given the title track. Having sung the Jawan’ title track, the singer gushed about her excitement. After the release of the film, she has called the whole experience “mind blowing”. Earlier, Raja Kumari had gushed about working with SRK in the Atlee directorial, calling it a dream come true, as she had not expected it. While leaving from the special screening she shared: “I am not just saying this because my song is in there, but I was screaming, I was crying. SRK and RK forever, I love Shah Rukh” (IANS)

 

Bruce Springsteen postpones tour due to severe peptic ulcer
Rockstar Bruce Springsteen is suffering from health concerns, leading him to postpone his ongoing tour due to a bad case of peptic ulcer. All his September performances have been delayed as the singer undergoes treatment. The news was shared in a statement on the singer’s social media, which noted that his medical advisors advised him to take off the rest of the month to focus on his health, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows,” Springsteen said in a statement. Thank you for your understanding and support. We’ve been having a blast at our US shows and we’re looking forward to more great times. (IANS)
