Shillong, September 13: Amitabh Bachchan, the iconic Bollywood superstar and host of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ season 15, is well-known for delighting the audience and his fans with personal stories while on the show.

As per IANS, in episode 22 of the quiz-based reality program, Amitabh Bachchan recounted a humorous childhood tale involving a frog.

Ishita Goyal from Mandi Dabwali, Haryana, secured her spot on the hot seat after winning the fastest finger first round.

For a Rs 3,000 question, she was posed with the query: “Which of these animals catches its prey by using its tongue?” The multiple-choice options included Shark, Cat, Kite, and Frog. Ishita wisely used the audience poll lifeline and correctly identified the answer as “frog.”

Explaining the answer, Amitabh Bachchan remarked, “A frog’s tongue is unique in its ability to swiftly catch insects by extending its tongue. The tongue is sticky to efficiently capture prey, which becomes stuck, and the frog then consumes it.”

The 80-year-old actor then took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, recalling, “During my childhood in Allahabad, there was an encounter with Mr. Mendhak (frog) as well. In the summertime, when it got hot, we would spread our bedding on the lawn and sleep under the open sky.”

“As a child, my hand extended beyond the bed. Suddenly, a frog approached and mistook it for potential prey. That’s when I learned about a frog’s tongue. Since then, I’ve been cautious, keeping my hands in my pocket and never extending them out,” he shared.
