Khliehriat, Oct 11: The East Jaiñtia Hills District Football Association (EJHDFA) witnessed some intense football action as Khliehriat West FC triumphed to secure a spot in the Quarter Finals of the 1st Division.
In a thrilling clash at the Deinchynrum Stadium, Khliehriat, Rynbai Synrang Shahkhain SC and Pamra paithlu SC battled it out, ultimately settling for a 0-0 draw in the quarterfinals. The closely contested game kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
On the other side of the pitch, Khliehriat West FC displayed their prowess, clinching a 3-1 victory against Lumputhoi SC.
Jasmine Talang shone bright for Khliehriat West FC, scoring in both the 4th and 10th minutes, while Silgrak Pala added to the tally in the 43rd minute. Rishan Lyngdoh netted the solitary goal for Lumputhoi SC in the 17th minute.These electrifying performances have earned Khliehriat West FC a coveted spot in the Quarter Finals of the EJHDFA 1st Division football championship.
The competition is fierce, with teams like Rymbai Synrang Shahkhaiñ SC, Wahiajer NYSSC, Rangad SC, Ladrymbai-B SC, Tpepswer SSWO, Chiehruphi SYWSC, and Byndihati SC all vying for glory at the same time.The stakes are quite high and so are the players brimming with excitement and confidence, as the teams competing in this stage will battle it out for a promotion to the 1st Division from the 2nd Division.
Lumputhoi SC, Rymbai Pohskur SC, Pamra paithlu SC, and Musniang SC will be fervently competing to achieve this promotion, making the next matches a spectacle of skill, determination, and passion. Football enthusiasts can expect more thrilling action in the upcoming fixtures.
