Manchester City keen to extend Haaland contract

Manchester City are keen to give their Norway forward Erling Haaland, 23, a new contract which will remove a reported £173m release clause and reduce fears that Real Madrid or Barcelona could lure him away. Haaland has 44 goals in 43 Premier League appearances. Haaland is a prolific goalscorer who is capable of scoring goals in a variety of ways. He is also a strong and physical player who is difficult to defend against. He is considered one of the most exciting young players.

 

Manchester United target defender Goncalo Inacio

Manchester United have added Sporting Lisbon and Portugal defender Goncalo Inacio, 22, to their list of targets as they look to strengthen their defence next summer. Inácio has also been a key player for the Portugal national team. He made his international debut for Portugal in 2023 and has since made 10 appearances for the team. Inácio was part of the Portugal squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.Inácio is both good in the air and on the ground.
