Shillong, October 15: In a harrowing incident in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, a 17-year-old Dalit girl with physical disabilities was allegedly subjected to gang rape.

According to her family, she had gone to graze goats on Saturday, and later in the evening, she was discovered in a critical condition in a field, just 200 meters from her home.

As per IANS, her uncle described the gruesome discovery, stating, “We found her partially unclothed and in a pool of blood. Using sign language, she conveyed that two individuals had assaulted her.”

She was swiftly taken to the trauma center at Firozabad district hospital and later referred to Sarojini Naidu Medical College in Agra.

Additional SP Sarvesh Kumar Mishra confirmed, “Medical examinations have revealed injuries to the girl’s private parts. We are awaiting her ultrasound report and other test results. An FIR has been registered under IPC Section 376 (rape) against unknown individuals based on the victim’s uncle’s complaint.”

The victim’s family is reportedly poor, with her father, uncle, and elder brother working as laborers. The girl faces learning difficulties and struggles with her speech.
