BJP yet to form new executive body under Rikman

SHILLONG, Oct 20: Three weeks have passed by since Rikman Momin took over as the new president of the state BJP but the new executive committee is yet to be constituted.
Speaking to The Shillong Times here on Friday, the new BJP president said that the new team would be constituted most probably by the first week of November.
He defended the delay in constituting the new body saying that he is currently visiting all the districts to meet units and mandals to take their views on strengthening the party.
It may be mentioned that Rikman Momin, took charge as the new president of Meghalaya BJP after previous president Ernest Mawrie was removed from the post of the party president, on October 3.
