Bhutan King offers prayers at Kamakhya Temple

Guwahati, Nov 3: The King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck  today offered  his prayers at the historic Maa Kamakhya Temple atop Nilachal Hills here following his arrival in the city his maiden visit to Assam.

Earlier, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and along with a few of his Cabinet colleagues and the Chief Secretary Paban Kumar Borthakur and the Director General of Police G P Singh received the King of Bhutan at Guwahati International Airport.
