Anti-ragging panel meet: NEHU clarifies

SHILLONG, Nov 4: NEHU on Saturday clarified that the Naga elders and NGOs did not submit any report whatsoever nor was it expected of them.
In a statement issued here, the university said that the Naga elders and NGOs were only involved in a meeting with the vice-chancellor and the administration of NEHU to take stock of the investigation and inquiry into the alleged ragging incident at the Tura campus recently.
‘The Naga elders were not expected to present any report. The report was submitted by the inquiry committee of the university’.
