TURA, Nov 15: The Chokpot Regional Unit of the GSU has alleged shoddy work on the ongoing construction of the Chokpot-Sibbari Road in South Garo Hills, which is being undertaken by the CCL Company.
Following complaints from commuters of the said road, the union on Tuesday inspected the work being done on the road where it was found to be unsatisfactory. According to the union, chips used for the construction have already started to peel off and minor repairs are being done to it with a thin layer of tar.
