Mariah Carey hasn’t had a driver’s license for 7 years, owns no sneakers
Singer Mariah Carey said that she hasn’t driven herself anywhere in seven years but was quick to clarify that it’s not due to some diva-esque behaviour but because of not having a driver’s license.While appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Carey said: “I don’t have a license, because I let it expire. I did have one, and then I left where I was living. I was living in the city and you don’t really want to drive in Manhattan. Well, I don’t.”“OK, my license.’ They were like, ‘Oh, well it’s expired — After Hudson asked: “What’s the most casual item of clothing in your closet?” Carey shared that she doesn’t own any sneakers.she said. “Because I don’t own sneakers.” “No, I don’t. Because I get a blister on the back of my foot.”While the Grammy winner went on to admit that heels “hurt too,” she said she finds them easier to wear because she walks on her toes. “I’ve always done that,” she explained.“So it’s kind of a thing. for her Men’s Day post
On the International Men’s Day, Bollywood actress Kajol shared a heartwarming post for all the men in her life, but received criticism from the netizens for not mentioning about her best friend Shah Rukh Khan.Taking to Instagram, Kajol dropped a series of unseen pictures featuring her husband and actor Ajay Devgn, son Yug, nephews Aaman and Danish Devgn, actor and uncle of Kajol- Deb Mukherjee, filmmaker Karan Johar, ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra, and makeup artist Mickey Contractor. Kajol captioned the post as: “To all the men who give Men a good name… And wishing all the luck to our men in blue.” However, fans took to the comment section and wrote: “where is Shah Rukh Khan”, “SRK is not there”. “Isn’t he your best friend since 30 years ago?” (IANS)

Pink to give away thousands of banned books at her Florida show
Grammy-winning singer Pink said she will hand out banned books in the state’s schools when she plays in her Florida gig.“Books have held a special joy for me from the time I was a child. That’s why I am unwilling to stand by and watch while books are banned by schools,” Pink said. Florida has become the centre of the book-banning debate and Pink’s plan has been formed with the national free speech group PEN America.They have chosen four titles to give away to fans – Toni Morrison’s ‘Beloved’, Todd Parr’s ‘The Family Book’, Stacia Deutsch’s ‘Girls who Code’, and the poem recited by Amanda Gorman at Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration in January 2021 titled ‘The Hill We Climb’, Of those more than 40 per cent – the equivalent of 1,406 book-ban cases – happened in Florida school districts.
