NHAI apprises HC of repair work on NH-6

SHILLONG, Dec 13: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has filed a status report in the High Court of Meghalaya indicating the repair that had been undertaken on the Jowai-Ratacherra stretch of national Highway 6.
The status report was submitted by S. Sengupta, the counsel for the NHAI. A copy of the status report was handed over to S. Panthi, the counsel for the petitioner (Kynjaimon Amse).
The petitioner’s counsel also prayed for time to file an affidavit with regard to the status report filed by the state government on November 16, 2023.
