State karatekas set to conquer natl c’ship

Shillong, Dec 28: The All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association (AMKA) is sending a contingent of 57 skilled karatekas to the upcoming Kanninjuku Training Camp-cum-National Shoto Cup Karate Championship 2023. This prestigious event is scheduled to take place in Khandala, Maharashtra, from December 29 to 31, 2023.
Led by the seasoned trio of Donboklang Lyngdoh, Arjun Sewa, and Greater EM Kharpuri, the AMKA squad consists of 26 female karatekas and 31 male athletes. These dedicated martial artists are poised to showcase their prowess and compete at the highest level.
The female warriors representing AMKA include Esaranaki Kharjana, Dominica P Kharbani, Emika Deimaia Myrthong, Kerridame M Khongji, Dayalangki Challam, Mebapynhun Marngar, Jennet Rumnong, Daphishisha Shadap, Daphilahun M Wahlang, Aibiangpormika Lyngdoh Mawphlang, Sinalin Marngar, Inlumlang Skhemiew, Kynjailin Lyngdoh Mawnai, Anisha Wahlang, Delightful Marngar, Larisha Kurbah, Rebeka Nongspung, Melvarica Kharbani, Carene Sohiong, Carenia Rapthap, Impera Makdoh, Elisheba Khongwar, Eva Gracia Mary Kharumnuid, Barisha Kharbani, Phikerbha Kharbihkhiew, Saralin Rynghang.
On the male front, the AMKA squad includes formidable names such as Samuel Kurbah, Nowni Mayer F Ryngkhlem, Abhradeep Aguan, Emmanuel B Diengdoh, Ferdinand Samkupar Rani, Febbyson Lyngkhoi, Gregorwilson Makdoh, Nathanial Marbaniang, Romeo Nongtdu, Jeremaiah Kharshandi, Yowanki Kharwillborn, Ram Lanong, Damebanmerbha S Blah, Samebanmerbha S Blah, Gideon Tympuin, Shanderson Nongrem, Kynpham Kharkongor, Bhawanchwadame Lyngdoh Mawphlang, Wilson Mylliempdah, Paul Danny Kharmudai, Cheltis Shylla, Evanmedon Rynghang, Teiborlang Lapang, Davysong Kharkongor, Ialamphang Kharkongor, Nangkitbok Phira, Gary Daniel Lyngdoh Mawlong, Edwilbert K Nongkynrih, Fredrick Shangpliang, Glikerius Buhphang, Mingson Rymbai.
