The non-functional high-mast light at Fire Brigade in the city, puts the state
machinery in bad light. The beautification work on this junction had started during Covid-19 pandemic period. After plenty dilly-dallying, the small junction was finally completed. However what comes as a disappointment is the fact that these high-mast lights have not been made functional even after years of this project getting
completed. Passersby who ply on this road say that they have never seen
the high-mast light working till date. The government and
its agencies seem to not bat an eye
