TCH road to be closed for ongoing construction works

Tura, Jan 10: The West Garo Hills District Administration on Wednesday announced the temporary closure of the road adjoining the Covid-19 ward at Tura Civil Hospital in view of the ongoing construction of the hospital’s 80 bedded section.

The closure is to be effective from January 21.

“The closure will be effective 24/7, 365 days throughout the construction period. However, the road will be closed only for public vehicles and pedestrians will be allowed,” a notification issued in this regard by district Deputy Commissioner, Jagadish Chellani said.

Meanwhile, the district administration has sought the cooperation of the residents, commuters and the general public during the closure period.
