Mawten, Jan 17: The commencement of the Mawten IV Invitation T20 Cricket Tournament, 2023-24, organized by Mawten Sports Club at Mawpyllun Playground, Mawten, located 2 kilometers from Mawkyrwat in the South West Khasi Hills District, unfolded on Tuesday with the participation of 20 teams hailing from various parts of the district.
The inauguration of the tournament was graced by Johnfilter Lyngdoh, the President of the National People’s Youth Front (NPYF) in the South West Khasi Hills District. The event witnessed the presence of Bakhain Nongsiej, the General Secretary of the South West Khasi Hills District Cricket Association, and other dignitaries, including office bearers of Mawten Sports Club.
