Vehicle scam: Govt files status report in HC

SHILLONG, Feb 8: The state government on Thursday filed an affidavit with the High Court of Meghalaya, bringing on record the status of the departmental proceedings initiated against former police official Gabriel K Iangrai in the matter pertaining to the perceived illegal procurement of vehicles by the Police department.
The case will now be heard on February 13.
