Lumpyngngad beat Masonic

Shillong, Feb 19: Lumpyngngad edged Masonic in the Shillong Cricket League 1st Division 2024 match on Monday.
Electing to bat first, Lumpyngngad managed to put up a tricky 204/10 in 36.2 overs. Chandan Shah and Abhay Kr Rai were the top performers with the bat scoring 39 (in 41 balls) and 26 (in 19 balls) respectively.
Bhuwan Thapa was the pick of the bowlers with his spell of 4/35 in 8 overs. Victor Deb also made a significant impact, bowling 7.2 overs, giving away 31 runs, and securing 2 wickets.
Masonic, in reply, bundled out for 130/10 in 34.1 overs. Bikash Chettri top scored with 28 runs in 39 balls, while Kishan L. Sharma contributed with valuable 24 runs in 31 balls.
Vishal K Balmiki was the best bowler for Lumpyngngad, ending with match figures of 4/27 in his 8 overs. Rajib Ray also managed to pick 3 crucial wickets, giving away 32 runs, in his 8 overs.
Lumpyngngad emerged victorious by 74 runs, with Rajib Ray named the Player of the Match for his allround performance.
