Workshop
A workshop on ‘Data Protection and Localization in Meghalaya: A Legal Study’ will be organised by the Department of Law, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, and sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), on February 29 in a blended mode. The workshop aims to gather input from the public regarding the feasibility of framing the policy recommendations and initiatives on the protection of data through data localisation, a statement issued here informed. It aims to educate society on the significance of their rights and duties in the protection of their personal and sensitive data, it added.
