Local bands rue delay in disbursal of payment

TURA, March 11: Garo artistes, who had performed during the recently concluded Meghalaya Games, are yet to be paid their dues for their performance. A letter in this regard, requesting early payment for their performance, was submitted to the West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner on Monday by Browny R Marak, the frontman of the famous Garo rock band, Riprap.
