Conrad calls on Rio, NPP supports NDPP candidates

Shillong, Mar 25: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today called on Chief Minister Nagaland Neiphiu Rio along with party leaders and party MLAs from Nagaland to extend support to Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) for the ensuing Lok Sabha election.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that as a coalition partner of the NDA, the National People’s Party (NPP) has resolved to extend full support to Lok Sabha candidate from the State of Nagaland Dr. Chumben Murry, sponsored by the NDPP.

It may be mentioned that NDA partners in North East are resorting to extension of support to each other in different Lok Sabha seats to win the polls.
