Denag T Sangma leaves NPP to join Congress

Tura, Mar 28:  Former chief executive member (CEM) of Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC), Denang T Sangma, who is also a long-time supporter and member of the National People’s Party (NPP) today switched over to the Congress.

He along with a group of supporters joined the Congress giving a huge boost to the prospects of the Congress candidate, Saleng Sangma.= in Tura Lok Sabha seat.

A meeting will be held this evening to welcome Denang and hundreds of his supporters in Williamnagar.
