Former GHADC CEM quits NPP, joins Congress

TURA, March 28: In a major boost to the Congress in Garo Hills, former chief executive member of the GHADC and a long-serving member of the NPP, Denang T Sangma joined the Congress on Thursday afternoon.
Denang, who represented Williamnagar in the GHADC, joined the Congress along with his supporters in a major boost to the candidature of Saleng Sangma who is locked in a four-way battle for the prestigious Tura seat with NPP’s re-nominated candidate Agatha Sangma, TMC’s Zenith Sangma and independent candidate Labenn Ch Marak.
