MLCU event brings creativity & innovation out of students

SHILLONG, April 12: A slew of competitions were on Friday held as part of Fun-O-Rama 2.0, showing a vibrant blend of creativity and innovation of the students of Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU).
According to a statement here, the programme was organised by the Office of the Dean of Students in collaboration with the Centre for Innovation & Incubation of Startups, at Anton Hall, Laitumkhrah.
“The event brought together students, faculty, and guests for a day filled with engaging activities and performances,” the statement said.
During the programme, attendees were treated to a plethora of musical performances by the Department of Music, MLCU.
Further, the Centre for Innovation & Incubation of Startups hosted a pitching competition, providing students a platform to showcase their entrepreneurial ideas.
A cosplay contest was also held as part of the programme, where participants showcased their creativity and craftsmanship.
“The day’s entertainment continued with performances by Swag Squad, Naphisabetand Lydia, and a special act by Mewantei Marbaniang. Excitement reached its peak with the announcement of winners for both the pitching competition and the cosplay contest, highlighting the exceptional talent and innovation within the MLCU community,” the statement said.
The curtain on the day-long programme came down with a lively jam session by DJ Adriel.
