Ampareen casts her vote, confident of win

SHILLONG, April 19: NPP candidate for the Shillong Parliamentary seat, Ampareen Lyngdoh cast her vote at the polling station set up at Arya Kanya Vidyalaya School in Laitumkhrah. Lyngdoh was accompanied by some of her family members.
Speaking to media persons after casting her vote, she exuded confidence about a positive outcome, saying she and her party had worked exceedingly hard and given their best during the campaign process.
She stated that once she is elected as an MP, she would raise pertinent issues concerning the state and its people in the Parliament.
She also expressed concern over how certain political parties organised a slur campaign without showing mutual respect for their political rivals.
