Body recovered
Risha Mawlong lodged a complaint that on April 14 around 3 pm, her son, viz. Shanskhem Mawlong (26) left their residence at Umsohlang, Mawlein village, East Khasi Hills, but failed to return. However, on April 15 at about 9 am, she was informed that her son was found dead at Umsohlang, EKH.

Duped
A female resident of a locality in Shillong lodged a complaint that between February 28 and March 4, unknown miscreants cheated her of Rs. 1.25 lakh through Instagram.
Mofizul Hoque lodged a complaint that on April 21, one Romej Ali cheated him by issuing him a bounced cheque of Rs. 1 lakh, signed by one Samej Ali, for the payment of items valued around Rs. 55,660, which were purchased from his shop at New Bhaitbari village under Phulbari Police Station, West Garo Hills. Later, the complainant apprehended the alleged accused person and handed him over to police at Phulbari Police Station.

Assault
Teiborlang Khongshei, Meghalaya Home Guard Volunteer, lodged a complaint that on April 19 around 6 pm, the driver and four occupants of one local taxi (ML-05M-5208) assaulted him while he was performing duty at Umiam Bridge, Mawiong Rim, and fled away.

Items recovered
On April 25 around 5:15 am, residents of Jaiaw Langsning, Shillong, apprehended one Phrangki Lyngdoh (27) at Lad Jaiaw, Shillong, and recovered one stolen woofer from his possession.
Songstar Shabong lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of April 23 and 24, unknown miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle (ML-05R-8683) from Mawlai Umjaiur, Shillong. However, on April 25, BSF personnel recovered the stole motorcycle from Pyrdiwah village, East Khasi Hills.

Theft
Edelweiss Nongrum lodged a complaint that on April 24 around 2.30 am, she found that her motorcycle (ML-04E-0303) was stolen from her residence at Lumphareng Mihmyntdu village, West Jaintia Hills.
Dibanlang Nongsiej, Technician at Airtel Pvt. Ltd., lodged a complaint that on April 21 around 5 pm, he found that unknown miscreant(s) had stolen Remote Radio Unit (RRU) valued around Rs. 2 lakh from the tower site at Mawshbuit village, Happy Valley, Shillong.
Bidasing Senar lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of April 19 and 20, unknown miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle (ML-05Z-6193) from Madanrting Block-F, Shillong.
Havdyansu Sinha lodged a complaint that on April 21, unknown miscreant(s) stole copper wires and iron ore items from his newly constructed house at Oakland, Shillong.

Theft bid
On April 23 around 12.25 am, residents of Balalgre appeared at Damalgre Police Station in South West Garo Hills, and verbally reported that they have detained one vehicle, while attempting to steal a log/timber from the forest maintained by Balalgre village. However, the driver fled the scene, leaving behind his vehicle.

Opposition
Nokma of Kentapara village under Tikrikilla Police Station in West Garo Hills lodged a complaint that three persons opposed the donation of a plot of land by the complainant to the government for construction of Community Health Centre in the village, placed a red flag at the abovementioned plot of land, and also threatened the complainant and her family with dire consequences.
