A fire engulfs a truck (JK05 H 0666) transporting rubber on NH-6, near Jyntru in Ri-Bhoi on Monday afternoon. The driver of the truck escaped unharmed while a handyman sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fire and emergency services brought the flames under control but the truck and the goods were completely gutted. (ST)
