Activities galore mark school book exhibition

SHILLONG, May 4: A slew of activities were part of a book exhibition, which was organised by Kendriya Vidyalaya Umroi Cantonment on Thursday.
According to a statement here, the book exhibition drew a significant footfall of people, including students from KV NEPA, Umiam.
“The exhibition unfolded as a celebration of knowledge and imagination. Students were treated to a plethora of literary treasures, ranging from timeless classics to contemporary masterpieces, meticulously curated to cater to diverse interests and preferences,” the statement said.
As part of the exhibition various competitions were held. “From book quizzes to storytelling contests, students were encouraged to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of literature and showcase their passion for reading and learning,” the statement said.
