City school shines in ICSE, ISC results

SHILLONG, May 7: Pine Mount School has achieved 100% pass aggregate in this year’s ICSE and ISC examinations, while at the same time securing top 5 positions in the ICSE and top 3 positions in Humanities, Science and Commerce of the ISC (Class 12).
The ICSE (Class X) toppers are Emma Eemsangpuli Kharkongor 1st position with 96.2%, Khyat Sonowal, 2nd with 95.2%, Daniela Diamai, 3rd with 94%, Effie Karenza Suchiang, 4th with 93.6%, and Anjelina Maisnam, 5th with 93%.
In the ISC (XII) examination, the three toppers in Humanities include Aditi Duhaka Lyngdoh and Nimeweu Christabel Khalo, both 1st position holders with 94.75%, Lalrintluangi Jongte, 2nd with 93.5%, Beyonce S Marak, Ishita Das and Krittika Kakoty, all 3rd position holders with 92.25%.
In Science, Suhani W Pohlong (91.0%), IIawanbet Lamare (87.5%), Riyaki D Syiemiong (86.0%) were the first, second and third position holders respectively.
In Commerce, Phibakor Syiem (83.5%), Ephika Myrten (80.5%) and Elribha Rynjah (79.25 %) achieved the first, second and third positions respectively.
