ISKCON Shillong to hold programmes today

SHILLONG, May 21: To commemorate the occasion of the Divine Appearance Day of Lord Narasimha Dev, the ISKCON Shillong will on Wednesday organise a slew of programmes at the temple premises in R&R Colony, Rynjah.
According to a statement here, the programmes will be attended by His Holiness Bhakti Gaurav Narayan Swami Maharaj from ISKCON Vrindavan Dham, who will recite Narasimha katha and also interact with the youths and students.
Some of the programmes of the day include Darshan Arati, Guru Puja and Srimad Bhagavatam Discourse from 7.30 am to 9.30 am, Sri Hari Naam Nagar Kirtan from 10.00 am to 1.30 pm, Sri Narasimha Yagna from 3 pm, Maha Abhishek and Narasimha Puja from 4.30 pm, and Sandhya Arati followed by Narasimha Katha (Pravachan), Pushpanjali and Mahaprasadam from 6.30 pm.
