Demand for status quo on quota policy

TURA, May 27: Organisations from all five districts of Garo Hills along with the all Garo Mahari Association and senior citizens recently formed the Garo Reservation Policy Coordination Committee and unanimously sought the maintenance of status quo on the State Reservation Policy of 1972.
The meeting resolved to stand firm in maintaining the ‘status quo’ in letter and in spirit.
