ABVP members call on DGP

SHILLONG, May 30: Members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Meghalaya Prant called on Meghalaya DGP Idashisha Nongrang out of courtesy here.
The delegation was led by ABVP state secretary Tengku M Marak, accompanied by ABVP state joint secretary Bomsing Khongtir, and NEC Member Promila Tham.
During the courtesy meeting, the delegation discussed various initiatives undertaken by ABVP across Meghalaya and the nation. Tengku M Marak elaborated on ABVP’s role as the world’s largest student organisation, highlighting its efforts in shaping the youth and students of the nation for constructive development, fostering a sense of nationalism and patriotism among them.
Nongrang expressed her appreciation towards ABVP’s initiatives and assured the organisation’s representatives of the Meghalaya Police’s cooperation in future endeavours aimed at positive development of students.
The meeting concluded with a mutual understanding of collaboration to guide students towards constructive and positive development, aligning with the nationalistic values promoted by ABVP.
