Shillong, June 29: Them Rangshken ACC dominated their Group D match in the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2024, securing a resounding 5-0 victory over Laitlulong SC at First Ground, Polo.
In an earlier Group E fixture, Nongkolew SC and Risa Colony SC played out a 1-1 draw. Riskhem Sten gave Nongkolew the lead in the 16th minute, only for Pynshailang K Wanniang to equalise for Risa Colony in the 29th minute, with no further goals scored in the remainder of the match.Gilbert Kurbah shone for Them Rangshken ACC, scoring twice (3’, 35’) in the 70-minute match. He was ably supported by his teammates Stabok Kurbah (24’), Ivangari Kharphuli (62’), and Batistar Langstieh (70’), who each added a goal to complete the comprehensive victory.On Monday Madanrting SC will face Lumpyngngad SC at 1:45 PM, Mawreng SC will take on Umrynjah SC at 4:00 PM and Lummawbah SC will lock horns with Mawkasiang SC at 4:00 PM.
Them Rangshken ACC showcased a commanding performance in today’s match, securing a convincing 5-0 win over Laitlulong SC at First Ground, Polo. Gilbert Kurbah emerged as the standout performer, netting twice (3’, 35’), with goals also coming from Stabok Kurbah (24’), Ivangari Kharphuli (62’), and Batistar Langstieh (70’). This result firmly places Them Rangshken ACC at the top of Group D, setting a high bar for their competitors in the U-20 Fourth Division 2024.
