Shillong, July 12: The Meghalaya Youth League by the Meghalaya Football Association was launched on Friday.
The league will have teams from four zones, namely East khasi hills, West Khasi Hills, Jaintia Hills and Garo Hills will be competing.
Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma unveiled the trophy, and said that the state is soon set to be one of the states to have the highest investments in terms of sports infrastructure.
He also said Meghalaya is the only state to have three synthetic tracks, and many more artificial turfs are to come up.
