MFA inaugurates Meghalaya Youth League 2024

SHILLONG, July 12: The Meghalaya Youth League 2024 was officially launched on Friday at the State Convention Centre by Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma. The event marked a significant milestone for football in the state, with the Chief Minister commending the Meghalaya Football Association (MFA) for its initiative.
In his address, Chief Minister Sangma congratulated the MFA, highlighting the league’s potential to transform the football landscape in Meghalaya. “This initiative will have a profound impact on football in our state,” he remarked.
As part of the launch, the Chief Minister handed over cheques to Zonal Officers, representing various district football associations, to support the Meghalaya Youth League. “This league will provide a vital platform for our young footballers to showcase their talent and develop their skills,” he added.The Meghalaya Youth League 2024 aims to foster young talent and elevate the standard of football across the state, offering aspiring footballers an opportunity to shine and grow in their sport.
