Shillong, July 12: The East Khasi Hills District Badminton Association (EKHDBA) has announced that it will host the 8th East Khasi Hills District Badminton Championship from July 25 to 27, 2024.
The tournament will feature a range of categories, including Senior Men and Women, as well as age groups under 19, 17, 15, and 13, for both boys and girls. Competitions will be held in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles formats.
Eligibility criteria for participants specify that players must remain within their respective age categories throughout the calendar year, from January 1 to December 31, 2024. Specifically, those born on or after January 1, 2006, for the Under 19 category, January 1, 2008, for Under 17, January 1, 2010, for Under 15, and January 1, 2012, for Under 13, are eligible to compete.Entries must be submitted by July 18, 2024.
