SHILLONG, July 26: The Harijan Panchayat Committee and the state government have submitted before the High Court of Meghalaya that progress has been made on the issue of negotiation between the two parties with regard to the relocation of residents from Harijan Colony.
The court on Friday heard R Khatri, counsel for the petitioner (HPC) as well as Advocate General Amit Kumar who appeared on behalf of the respondent (state government).
