Shillong, Aug 7: Meghalaya is gearing up to host the Wushu League East Zone from August 9- 12, 2024, at the Indoor Stadium NEIGRIHMS.
The event promises to be a thrilling showcase of martial arts talent, featuring over 550 skilled Wushu athletes competing in the Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories.
The league boasts a substantial prize pool of Rs. 7.2 lakh to reward exceptional performances, with the top eight individual players eligible for prize money. The Wushu League is committed to identifying and nurturing young talent, aiming to enhance the sport’s growth in the region.
Following successful events in the South and North Zones earlier this season, the East Zone competition is set to continue the league’s momentum. The West Zone event will conclude the season after the East Zone showdown.
