West Jaintia badminton championship from Sept 9-14

Jowai, Aug 28: The West Jaintia District Badminton Association (WJDBA), Jowai, has announced the 15th District Open Badminton Championship, inviting players from across the Jaintia Hills District to participate.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from September 9 to September 14, 2024, at the Indoor Hall of the Seiñraij in Tpep-pale, Jowai.
The competition will feature several categories, including Under-19 boys’ and girls’ singles and doubles, Men’s open singles and doubles, 35+ Men’s singles and doubles, 55+ Men’s singles and doubles, Women’s singles and doubles, and Mixed doubles. Each category must have a minimum of four teams to proceed. Participants are allowed to compete in up to two categories across three events.
