Group holds cleanliness drive at Jowai locality

JOWAI, Aug 31: The Panaliar Tourism & Environmental Development Society (PTEDS), Jowai, on Saturday conducted an inspection and clean-up drive, focusing on the areas of Syntu Ksiar, stretching from the Langhung River to the Kiang Nangbah Memorial Park.
The event began with a meeting, during which the PTEDS members urged visitors to refrain from littering Pynthorwah and Syntu Ksiar areas. They also warned that those violating the rules set by the Dorbar Shnong and the Society would face penalties.
