Tura, Aug 31: To celebrate National Sports Day 2024, a 10K Run was organized in Tura on Saturday.
The event, which started from Matchakolgre L.P. School Field in New Tura, was organized by the District Sports Office, West Garo Hills.In the under-15 boys’ category, John Omega Ch. Sangma took first place, followed by Chayastone Ch. Marak in second, and Elyan Earnest S. Sangma in third. In the under-15 girls’ category, Akangesa A. Sangma secured the top spot, with Sneha D. Sangma and Chukambe G. Momin finishing second and third, respectively.
