Four arrested in Nagaland for looting Ri-Bhoi petrol pump

Nongpoh, Sep 2: Ri-Bhoi Police have arrested four Nagaland residents for looting a petrol pump at Umran Niangbyrnai in the district on the morning of August 25. The suspects assaulted the petrol pump’s manager and staff before making off with Rs 4,24,614 in cash and three mobile phones.
The arrested persons have been identified as Bokavi Zhimomi (25), Pashen Lam (32) and Rokongulie Kepu (18), all residents of Dimapur, Nagaland.
Ri-Bhoi Superintendent of Police, Jagpal Singh Dhanoa said the fourth accused Tsalipi (26) has been detained in Tuensang district of Nagaland. A police team from Ri-Bhoi is on its way to Nagaland to take custody of the fourth accused.
The police have also seized the vehicle (Bolero: NL07 CB 0156) used to commit the robbery.
