Body found near residence
Nehlang Shylla lodged a complaint that on September 7, around 5.30 pm, the body of one Ni-oo Shylla (38) was recovered from the vicinity of the residence of his deceased wife at Sabah Muswang village in West Jaintia Hills.

Assault
On September 8, around 8 pm, two persons — Ronak Thapa (19) and Suraj Sharma (32) both of Lumshyiap, Nongmensong, Shillong — were assaulted by their neighbours. As a result, the duo sustained injuries and were admitted at Civil Hospial, Shillong.

Bike stolen
Shiva Debnath lodged a complaint that on September 6 afternoon, miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle (ML-05Y-3791) from Laitumkhrah, Shillong.

Husband steals valuables
A woman from a locality in Shillong lodged a complaint that between August 12 and 17, her husband Akkas Sekh stole jewelries and cash worth Rs 28,500 from her residence.

Items stolen from car
Oscar Hubert Dkhar lodged a complaint that on September 8 early morning, an unidentified miscreant stole materials from his vehicle (ML-05V-0722), which was parked near his residence at Howell Road Laban, Shillong. However, the incident was captured in CCTV.
Avinash Kumar Chourasia lodged a complaint that on September 5, around 11 am, his employee Hitesh Agarwal broke into his Mahindra XUV vehicle (ML-10K-0001) at MES CWD Urkaliar, Shillong, and stole Rs 1.5 lakh in cash.

Break-in
May Queen Kharphuli lodged a complaint that on September 7 afternoon, miscreant(s) broke into her residence at Nongmensong, Dongkamon, Shillong and stole gold ornaments valued around Rs 1.58 lakh and cash worth Rs 98,000.
Sudipa Bhattacherjee lodged a complaint that on September 6 evening, miscreant(s) broke into her residence at Golf Links, Pdengshnong, Shillong, and stole gold ornaments, wrist watch and Rs 20,000 in cash.

Online fraud
A female resident of a locality in Shillong lodged a complaint that on August 31, while browsing through her ‘Telegram account’, she was lured into investment trade. However, she later realised that it was fake.

Theft
Jhanika Siangshai lodged a complaint that on September 7, miscreant(s) stole electrical and plumbing items valued around Rs 32,000 from her under-construction Homestay at Moopynnien Wapungskur village in East Jaintia Hills.

Cattle heads found
Party Commander, A-Coy, 4th Bn., BSF, BOP Rongtilla, West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on September 8, around 4.50 am, BSF personnel detected four heads of cattle from a place near BP No. 1281/6-S in the district.
