Members of the Manipuri Elders Consortium Shillong stage a sit-in protest at the historic Manipur Bhavan (Rajbari), Redlands, Boyce Road, Shillong, to condemn the alleged atrocities against the Meitei community. The demonstration saw participation from Meitei residents in Shillong, including members of the working-class community and students hailing from Manipur. Participants also raised concerns over the continued inflow of illegal immigrants, the growing threat of narco-terrorism, and false propaganda.
