SHILLONG, Sep 19: Despite suffering a series of body blows, the Meghalaya Congress is keeping its chin up and is confident about its prospects in the upcoming district council elections.
Lone Congress MLA, Ronnie V Lyngdoh on Thursday said the party does not have many MLAs and MDCs but the party’s organisation is intact.
“Don’t just write us off yet as we still have the best organisation in the state,” Lyngdoh said.
He said the Congress will shortly set the ball rolling for the district council polls by inviting applications from potential candidates.
