Quarterfinal spots from Zones B & D to be confirmed today

Shillong, Sep 20: After nearly 130 matches spread across four zones in two age categories, the end of the round robin stage in the Meghalaya Youth League 2024 is within sight, with the final Zone B and D matches set to take place on Saturday.
Zone C matches were also originally set to conclude this weekend but due to unavoidable postponements, the matches will take one more week to complete.
Zone A has already wrapped up its round robin fixtures.
The top two teams from each group’s age category will progress to next month’s quarterfinal stage.
West Jaintia District Sports Association have confirmed top spot in the U-14 and U-16 categories in Zone B.
Amlarem Block Sports Association are also confirmed in second place in the U-14s but the U-16 runners-up spot is still up for grabs, with Saipung Block Sports Association, Amlarem (both 11 points) and East Jaintia District Football Association (10) points all in the running.
In Zone C, Shillong Sports Association could guarantee a quarterfinal place if they win against Riwar Mihngi Football Association in the U-14 age group.
Ri-Bhoi District Sports Association (who will not be in action tomorrow) and Shillong SA have already booked their places in the quarters of the U-16 division, though the order of the two teams is still in play.

Zone B – U-14 (1pm) & U-16 (3pm); Amlarem Block Sports Association vs East Jaintia District Football Association; Ladjaplem Mini Stadium
Zone C – U-14 (11am) & U-16 (1pm); Shillong Sports Association vs Riwar Mihngi Football Association; MFA Turf
Zone C – U-16 (3pm); Western Ri-Bhoi Sports Association vs Sohra Sports Association; Jirang Stadium
Zone D – U-14 (1pm) & U-16 (3pm); Mawshynrut Sports Association vs Mawkyrwat District Sports Association; Riangdo Playground
Zone D – U-14 (1pm) & U-16 (3pm); Pyndengumiong District Sports Association vs Eastern Border Sports Association; Dommawlum Playground
Zone D – U-14 (1pm) & U-16 (3pm); Nongstoin District Sport Association vs Tyrsad Area Sports Association; NDSA Playground
