SHILLONG, Sep 28: Curtain came down on the cluster-level KVS Rashtriya Ekta Parv (Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat) and Kala Utsav 2024-25 here on Saturday, which was organised at the Kendriya Vidyalaya Eastern Air Command with an aim to instill patriotism and unity among students.
According to a statement, the event began on Friday with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati, followed by the presentation of green gifts and a welcome song to honour the guests.
A total of 178 students from seven Kendriya Vidyalayas—KV Happy Valley, KV Umroi Cantt, KV NEHU, KV Laitkor Peak, KV Tura, KV NEPA, and KV Eastern Air Command Upper Shillong—participated in the event.
Some of the activities that were part of the event included national group songs, group vocal music, solo instrumental music, group dance, solo vocal music, and group instrumental music, which were held at the Meghalaya Auditorium.
Similarly, art exhibitions were also displayed on the school premises.
