JOWAI, Sep 28: The Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU) has flagged concerns regarding the recent declaration of the Staff Nurse and Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) examination results in the state.
In a letter to Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh, the JSU has also called for a transparent reissue of the results, which were announced on Friday at www.meghealth.gov.in.
The JSU also criticised the current format of the results, which only displayed the roll numbers of qualified candidates without mentioning their obtained marks.
The union argued that the method lacks transparency and fairness, denying candidates clarity on their performance after months of hard work and preparation.
The JSU then went on to point out discrepancies in the results, such as certain roll numbers appearing multiple times.
“Such irregularities undermine the credibility of the examination process,” the union said, requesting a reissue of the results, with both roll numbers and individual scores displayed on the same.
