Locals sensitised on central scheme for MSMEs

JOWAI, Oct 10: A one-day awareness workshop under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) initiative was organised by the District Commerce & Industries Centre (DCIC), Jowai, on Thursday, to educate local entrepreneurs about the benefits and opportunities available through the RAMP scheme.
The inaugural function was attended by General Manager of DCIC, B Warjri; Functional Managers SE Kharpran and E Pyrbot, and IPO S Pale along with other officers from DCIC.
General Manager Warjri informed the participants that the RAMP initiative is a programme designed to support the growth of their businesses.
He encouraged them to take full advantage of the resources and training available through the initiative.
Principal of Good Shepherd School, Khimmusniang, Jowai, and the resource person for the workshop, E Suting, motivated the local entrepreneurs to participate actively and leverage the resources and opportunities provided by the DCIC office.
Functional Manager E Pyrbot gave an overview of the workshop and the RAMP scheme.
He highlighted the objectives of RAMP and briefed the participants on the various opportunities available under the initiative.
