Website launch
The Office of the Chief Inspector of Boilers and Factories, Meghalaya, will launch its website at a programme to be held at the Regional Institute, Rynjah, Shillong, at 11:30 am on Wednesday. Principal Secretary, Department of Labour, Employment and Skill Development, will attend the programme as the chief guest.

Clarification
In the news item published in this paper on October 11 titled “Some shifted from culture but views on animal slaughter remain divided”, the word “sparrows” should be read as “pigeons”. The inadvertent error is regretted.
